Mark learned the important
things to value in life, what brings him the
greatest joys and a few survival tips from growing
up as the seventh child in a family with
ten. He learned even more, gained
life-long experiences and traveled the world by
joining the U.S. Navy. He decided he needed
a college education when he honorably
completed his tour of duty. Mark
graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from
Texas Tech University. Upon
graduation, he still wanted more. Mark
wanted a career that would allow him to work
with many different people all the time, have a
high level of satisfaction and
allow him to assist others persue their
dreams as well.
That all sounded so simple and
trouble-free didn't it? Mark worked
very hard, learned and gained
respect for many things and especially people,
education and experience. It didn't
take long for Mark to obtain a Real Estate
Broker's license in addition to his
Salesperson's license. He had to
excel and knowmore and have more
responsibility to his clients. Mark now has
14 gratifying years of experience and it would be
an extensive project to count the number of
properties he has sold. The list of
satisfied clients is lengthy and he receives a
steady repeat and referal business. He
earned it in the beginning and has stayed in
contact with families and their changing
needs.
Mark was elected to a 3 year
term by his professional
peers of the Visalia Association
of REALTORS. He prouldy served as President
of the Visalia Association of REALTORS in
2001. He accomplished many progressive feats
during his term. The web-site was
designed and the Multiple Listing Service became
viewable to the public as well as Real
Estate agents. The lockbox system
advanced to an electronic lock box, still utilized
today and increased the security of all homes in
Visalia immensely. Funds were raised for
scholarships, the September 11 disaster and
donations were made to numerous local charities by
the VAOR as well. Mark also began the talks
to merge the Visalia and Tulare boards and this
did occur the next year. His leadership and
professionalism are respected within the community
and among fellow REALTORS as well as affiliates.
